On Boarding Process

Project Initiation: We assign a Project Manager/Business Analyst to begin a project. Our PM/BA will have several discussions (phone/live meeting) with customer's point person for initial few weeks to understand the requirements and document them.

Team: The team consisting of a developer lead, developers, designer and testers will be added during the different stages of the project depending on the size and duration of the project.

On-site resources: We send engineers on-site for few weeks to work closely with customer's team. We can also provide an on-site resource on continuous basis depending on customer's requirement.

Please note that the Customer purchases SIM card with data plan of 1GB/month and activates the SIM. This SIM should be inserted in the GPS tracker and gets installed into the vehicle. We will help in installation of the tracker in the vehicle and validate SIM response as needed. Charges from the telecom carrier provider and technician installation charges are not included in the above service plans.

Unlimited online tracking: All our subscribers get unlimited online real-time location tracking of each vehicle and group of vehicles aka fleet real-time location. View unlimited history per day or weeks or few months of vehicle trails and analyze to get insights into operational activities and make strategic decisions.

View each vehicle history tracking displays the speed and vehicle direction in a color-coded format. You can select the date and see the whole trail, replay the events in fast forward manner, see the path trail along with the location details, click on the points and see gory details at that event etc., all on one single map screen.

Tracker Data handling seamlessly: Tracker Data handling seamlessly: Store from 3 months to a year worth of data from your vehicle trackers that sends continuous packets of location events data to the server. We have dedicated powerful server in large datacenter that is backed by continuous power to receive tracker data. Our application understands how to interpret the data, parses and stores in the database all at a rapid pace so that no events are lost. In case of weak signal, MSSTrax tracker stores the location details and once the signal strength is good, it will upload the data to our server so that no key events are lost. Dedicated server is very useful for handling tracker data from thousands of trackers. Dedicated server enables users to view their vehicle and fleet operations while the server is busy with heavy traffic much more reliably than shared server.

Security: We have self-signed SSL certificate https access that provides authentication and encryption as well as regular unencrypted unauthorized http access for your convenience. For all plans, we provide role based access control list so that only designated person can view appropriate information.

Reports: It is very easy to generate dynamic reports at that instant of time or by giving a range of dates through our web based MSSTrax application. Designated person can view appropriate reports based on the role access control for security purpose. Over 20 reports cover Idle, Stoppage, Distance, Geofence, Vehicle summary and details, Fleet summary and details, Travel trip etc. Download reports in various standard formats (HTML, csv, XML, or email) for further analysis. If you have a custom report requirement, do let us know.

Email Alerts & Accounts: Be on top of your business communication effectively with email alerts. Based on the plan you choose, you can receive up to defined number of email alerts per month per tracker, limit maximum number of emails per hour, and provide email accounts to receive alerts. Alerts can be from any type such as Overspeed, Geo-fence arrival/departure, Unauthorised dismantle Alert, Odd hours running, GeoCorridor arrival/departure, Towing, Vehicle Maintenance, various Scheduled/Cron job alerts. If you have a custom alert requirement, do let us know. Couple of best practices to reduce mail management overhead aare to create an email id exclusively for alerts that can be shared by many people or provide an email alias and add members to it.

Mobile Alerts via SMS & Mobile devices: Be on top of your business communication effectively with instant SMS alerts. Based on the plan you choose, you can receive up to defined number of SMS alerts per month per tracker, and provide the mobile numbers to receive alerts. Alerts can be from any type such as Overspeed, Geo-fence arrival/departure, Unauthorised dismantle Alert, Odd hours running, GeoCorridor arrival/departure, Towing, Vehicle Maintenance, various Scheduled/Cron job alerts. If you have a custom alert requirement, do let us know. Note that Mobile Alerts will be sent as SMS through our gateway; any roaming or additional charges from your carrier provider are not part of our service. You can subscribe/unsubscribe individual mobile phones while maintaining total mobile phones per plan. Please file a ticket when changing the mobile phone for SMS.

Geofences: One of the key features of MSSTrax is the ability to create points of interest along the path, or a landmark or an area that is of significant importance to delve deep into the details of activities. For instance, Public transportation vehicles are supposed to stop at each bus stop for some duration to load/unload passangers, water tankers are supposed to allow distribution of water for certain duration within set of locations and so on. MSSTrax also provides dynamic geofencing at the time of parking vehicle. In case of towing, the business owner will be able to receive an alert and can quickly take necessary action. Service plans allow creating geofences that in turn are useful in generating detailed reports and set alerts. You can have the geofence as a radius or square around a latitude/longitude or as a polygon of latitudes/longitudes and choose different colors to personalize it to fit your needs.

Geocorridor: Another key feature is restricting the activities to be performed only on a given route. You can define a corridor that can be very lengthy say covering from one state to another state. You can give a width for the corridor so that if the path has many twists and turns, it can cover maximum area within the corridor. Alerts can be set if vehicle deviates from the corridor and joins the corridor back.

Customer support:Based on your selected plan, we will provide customer support through online ticketing system at the client area login of glovision.co.

Audio Monitoring: With a mic accessory connected to your tracker and installed in the vehicle, it is possible to listen to Audio Monitoring. At this time we do not store the data on our server but if it is required for your business needs, please do let us know.

SOS function (Emergency Alert): With a Panic button accessory connected to your tracker and installed in the vehicle, it is possible to press the Panic button and receive email and SMS alerts.

Engine off & restore remotely: With a relay button accessory connected to your tracker and installed in the vehicle, it is possible to press the cut-off oil supply and stop the vehicle and restore the oil supply that will allow engine to turn on with ignition. Note that only one replay can be connected per tracker. It can be used either for Engine off & restore or Door unlock but not for both operations.

Door unlock remotely: With a relay accessory connected to your tracker and installed in the vehicle, it is possible to remotely unlock your vehicle when you are locked out. Note that only one relay can be connected per tracker. It can be used either for Engine off & restore or Door unlock but not for both operations.

Backups: We regularly run backups daily and in some cases weekly to make sure that our users do not lose their valuable tracker data content. Based on the service plan, we can restore to daily or weekly data in case of any unexpected data loss.

Security

Built-in security features include Roles for controlling access at granular levels such as views, maps and personal information. Rather than creating security profiles per each user which becomes unmanageable with growing list of people, a role will be created based on segmented user types. Set of users can be assigned to the role that simplifies user account management.

We provide admin to vehicle owner level controls through the roles that offer appropriate access to information.
We offer SSL secure website access (https) that authenticates our server to your client browser and encrypts the data at your browser while sending on the wire. This makes sniffing the packet content on the wire very difficult. For details, please refer to https vs. http.

Powerful Reports

Mahaveer provides over 30 reports ranging from driver activities (such as idling, speeding etc.,) to vehicle diagnostics, maintenance and efficiency. All reports can be exported in HTML, HTML Sorted Tables, Excel CSV and XLS formats, XML, Emails and Google Maps. You can select range of dates and times for historic data reports. Reports will be generated on demand for current activity or scheduled such as daily, weekly, or monthly.

Instant Alerts

Alerts are based on powerful rule engine which gives highest amount of granularity in generating various alerts. Alerts are configurable and have filters. Alerts can be sent to users specified via email or SMS text message.

Alert Types - Panic button, Speeding, Engine Fault, Periodic Maintenance, geozone arrival/departure etc.
Custom - Various custom alerts rules are can be generated such as vehicle door open, high temperature etc. We will work with you to customize any report to your needs.
An alert monitor window pops up with details of alert and links to vehicles that are generating alert. You can check this alert monitor at any time to take action.

GeoZones

Mahaveer allows you to define Geofences on the maps which are areas/boundaries of significance to trigger alerts, reports of fleet activity.
